Former Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Men's Basketball star Cobie Barnes was already named the RSC Newcomer and Men's Basketball Player of the Year following the end of the 2023-24 season. Barnes adds the RSC Male Athlete of the Year to his trophy case now as well. He's the first SMWC athlete, male or female, to be named RSC Athlete of the Year.Â
