Spencer is drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 14th round.

Former Indiana State Sycamores Closer Jared Spencer was taken in the 14th round by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2024 MLB Draft. Spencer becomes the third Sycamore drafted in the 2024 draft class, joining teammates Randal Diaz and Luke Hayden.
