This book is part of a series of five books on the five senses, which are part of the “Essene Initiations” series. The majority of the texts of these books come from an oral teaching transmitted by Olivier Manitara in July and August 2010 in Quebec within the framework of the Summer University and the Initiations of the Four Bodies and the Five Senses. Essenes coming from various backgrounds – Greece, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, United States and Quebec took part in this large gathering in the Essene Village of Cookshire.

The participants in the Initiation of the Five Senses lived in nature for five weeks while concentrating on their senses in order to awaken them to finer perceptions through intensive work. In this context, Olivier Manitara came at least once a day to transmit orientations and teachings.
